About the organization

The department of Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing (GEII) at Grenoble IUT1 offers the 3 BUT GEII courses, namely Electricity and Energy Management (EME), Automation and Industrial Computing (AII), and Electronics and Embedded Systems (ESE), which are offered as initial training courses but are also open to sandwich courses from the second year of the BUT.

The Grenoble Electrical Engineering Laboratory addresses issues related to the use of electricity as a driver for tackling societal challenges such as energy transition, digital technology, health, and resource conservation.

Your mission

You will join the GEII department's teaching team and teach mainly in the fields of energy technology and electrical engineering. You will be involved in the first, second and third years of the BUT GEII.

As a researcher, you will join one of the five teams at G2ELab and work on a project related to the laboratory's themes. In this context, all proposals addressing the problems of electrical engineering for energy will be studied.

Main activities

  • You will be involved in tutorials, practical work and electrical engineering projects. In particular, you will be able to supervise 1st year projects involving the design and construction of a domestic and then an industrial electrical cabinet.
  • You will supervise 1st and 2nd year tutorials and practical work on electrical engineering, speed variation...
  • You will mark examinations and practical work reports for the groups under your responsibility.
  • You will take part in the GEII department's half-yearly juries.
  • You will take part in monitoring 2nd and 3rd year BUT trainees.

 

  • You will join one of the laboratory teams to conduct your research activity. Your activity is expected to generate knowledge and disseminate it through publications, as well as your participation in the laboratory's research projects.

Salary

Starting at €2194 gross per month, depending on experience.
In addition to your salary, you will receive a monthly allowance of €105 gros
