About the organization

GIPSA-lab is a joint research laboratory of the CNRS, Grenoble INP-UGA and Université de Grenoble Alpes. At GIPSA-lab, we develop theoretical and applied researches on CONTROL, SIGNAL and IMAGES PROCESSING, SPEECH, COGNITION, ROBOTICS and ARTIFICAL INTELLIGENCE. GIPSA-Lab's MOVE team promotes interdisciplinary fundamental and applied research into human motor skills and expressivity, through biomechanical analysis, modeling and the study of cognitive control of gestures (movement, balance, voice).

The courses will be taught within l’UFR STAPS de Grenoble.

Your mission

You will be required to complete 192 hours of biomechanics modules at undergraduate level and, potentially, at postgraduate level at the UFR STAPS in Grenoble. You will also undertake a research project in the biomechanics of human movement as part of the MOVE team at GIPSA-Lab.

Main activities

To carry out these tasks, you will need to: 

  • Join the Biomechanics teaching team
  • Join the MOVE team at GIPSA-Lab
  • Develop a research project in line with the team’s research priorities.

Preferred qualifications

You are expected to possess the following skills:

  •  Biomechanics of human movement

The following skills would be an advantage:

  • signal processing,
  • tools for the digital analysis of movement, performance assessment and training monitoring (isokinetic ergometer, force-velocity profiles, electromyography)
  • -Analysis of electromyographic signals
  • Elastography

Salary

Starting at €2194 gross per month, depending on experience.
In addition to your salary, you will receive a monthly allowance of €105 gros
