Education :

Located on the Grenoble university estate, considered to be one of the most beautiful campuses in France, the Faculty of Law is also present on the Valence site, the largest delocalised university centre in France.

Grenoble's Faculty of Law has 4,300 students enrolled in face-to-face and distance learning courses, and offers 35 courses (including 17 Master's courses and 5 DUs - University Diplomas -).

The Faculty of Law has 75 lecturers and 36 administrative staff.

Research :

The Centre de Recherches Juridiques (CRJ) is the largest law laboratory in Grenoble. It has 79 lecturers and 63 doctoral students in both private and public law.

CRJ carries out individual and collective research in 3 areas: Justice and Freedoms, Innovations, Public Action and Territories.

You will teach the fundamentals of all private law disciplines.

You will take part in the life of the laboratory and collective research work.

Teaching: You will be responsible for teaching at bachelor's or master's level, in tutorials or, where appropriate, lectures, in the private law section.

Some teaching will take place in Valence (assignment order and payment of Grenoble-Valence expenses).

Research: you will be involved in collective research projects developed or being developed within the laboratory.

You are expected to have the following skills:

• Teaching skills
• Supervisory skills for Master's level students
• Solid skills in private law and criminal sciences
• Research skills, both individual and collective

An exemption from the PhD requirement may be granted if you are a PhD in your final year and are able to defend by 31 August 2027. Please include the attestation du directeur de thèse with your application.
