Main activities

  • Produce a collective publication entitled ‘A Guide to Public Ethics in Digital Technology and AI’
  • Facilitate a seminar and organise an international interdisciplinary conference on the subject
  • Edit a journal issue
  • Write articles in one’s own name for submission to peer-reviewed journals

Restrictions or constraints associated with the post:
A degree of flexibility regarding working hours may be required when organising or facilitating scientific events.

Preferred qualifications

  • Mastering high-level concepts in political philosophy and the philosophy of social relations
  • Organising a variety of academic events (seminars, study days, international conferences)
  • Develop and manage a publishing project
  • Carry out critical reviews of contributions and edit academic texts
  • Communicate about the project via mailing lists and academic and professional social media networks
  • Ability to identify and engage with key figures in the Grenoble research community (MSH Alpes, local research teams)
  • Ability to take scientific and logistical initiatives when organising events
  • Ability to work as part of a team and enjoy working closely with the project lead and other team members
  • Ability to demonstrate availability and responsiveness via electronic communication tools
  • Hold a PhD in Philosophy
  • Successful experience in organising events and collective publications would be an advantage

Salary

Starting at €2900 gross per month, depending on experience.
In addition to your salary, you will receive a monthly allowance of €- gros
