The UFR STAPS comprises 94 members of administrative, teaching and research staff. Home to 2,400 students, it offers training in the Sport Sciences and Physical Activities both in Grenoble and Valence. The range of courses on offer includes a Master's degree in STAPS, four STAPS bachelor's degrees, a professional bachelor's degree, a DEUG STAPS.

Teaching in neuroscience, neurophysiology, motor control, movement analysis, motor learning, in relation to performance and health. These courses will be taught on two training sites (Grenoble and Valence) mainly in the Licence STAPS.

Involvement in research programs on the neurosciences of expert versus pathological motor performance (GIN research unit) or on the identification of motor signatures of health through the study of biomechanical, sensorimotor, and cognitive markers (TIMC research unit).

96 hours of teaching and 96 hours of research activities. Teaching activities include preparing, implementing and assessing courses, and participating in teaching team and jury meetings.
