UFR Arts et sciences humaines (School of Human and Social Sciences) is part of Université Grenoble Alpes, and offers a wide range of courses.

It encourages interdisciplinarity, at the crossroads of many different and complementary specialities: history, art history, archaeology, philosophy, music and social geography.
The teaching team is made up of around 63 senior lecturers and professors who bring their teaching to life through their commitment to a recognized intellectual and scientific production.

The successful candidate will cover teaching needs in the history of ancient art and archaeology (Greco-Roman world): painting, sculpture and architecture.

They will be expected to give lectures and tutorials at bachelor's and master's level.

They will also strengthen the LUHCIE laboratory team.

To carry out these tasks successfully, you will have : 

• Teaching duties:
  • Teaching at bachelor's and master's level according to your skills,
  • Supervising students (tutoring sandwich course students, supervising dissertations, etc.),
  • You will also have to take administrative responsibilities,
• Research duties:
  • Participating in the LUHCIE laboratory's research activities according to your area of expertise.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

• Versatility in teaching skills;
• Ability to join the research team and participate in the laboratory's activities.
• Particular attention will be paid to the candidates' ability to tackle the broadest possible range of themes from the ancient period, complementing the courses delivered by the teaching team.
