The Laboratory of Psychology and Neurocognition is a joint research unit (UMR) affiliated with the CNRS (CNRS INSB Section 26 and a secondary affiliation with CNRS INSHS Section 34), and with two universities (UGA and USMB). The LPNC is affiliated with two research clusters, Humanities and Social Sciences (SHS) and Chemistry, Biology, Health (CBS), which is justified by the interdisciplinary nature of its activities: psychology, neuropsychology, cognitive and computational neuroscience. The LPNC is organized into five thematic research teams (Body and Space, Development and Learning, Language, Consciousness, Memory & Metacognition, Vision and Emotion), as well as a Babylab.

Your mission

You will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level psychology courses (in the child neuropsychology track) focused on the administration of tests, language, and the development of professional skills for future psychologists. You will supervise master’s-level student research. You will share pedagogical responsibility for the master’s program in child neuropsychology. You will contribute to research on neuropsychology within the LPNC’s Language Team.

Main activities

  • 96 hours (equivalent to tutorials) of teaching at the bachelor’s and master’s levels (tutorials and lectures)
  • Supervision of master’s-level research projects
  • Co-director of the Child Neuropsychology track in the master’s program
  • Research activities in neuropsychology

Preferred qualifications

You are expected to possess the following skills:

  • Subject-specific expertise (neuropsychology, language, cognition and development, methodology)
  • Teaching skills (including organizing exams, supervising internships, and mentoring students)
  • Research supervision skills (student research projects)
  • Skills in program management
  • Skills in conducting research (experiment design, data analysis, writing articles, etc.)
  • Skills in communication, organization, and team

An exemption from the degree requirement may be granted if you are in the final year of your PhD and are able to defend your thesis by 31 August 2027. Please include a letter of confirmation from your supervisor with your application.

Starting at €1579 gross per month, depending on experience.
In addition to your salary, you will receive a monthly allowance of €52.5 gros
