Your mission

The Lecturer and Researcher in Information and Communication Sciences teaches courses in media, digital, or institutional communication, addressing contemporary issues. They guide students in acquiring theoretical knowledge and practical skills in content analysis and production.

At GRESEC, the Lecturer and Researcher in Information and Communication Sciences conducts research on societal issues related to information, media, and communication practices.

Main activities

  • The activity of a Lecturer and Researcher in Information and Communication Sciences involves designing, teaching, and delivering courses,
  • supervising student projects, and participating in the research activities of GRESEC.
  • You must also take on administrative or pedagogical responsibilities, such as coordinating programs, managing supervised projects, while contributing to academic and institutional life.

Preferred qualifications

You are expected to have the following skills:

  • a significant professional experience, whether through a role as a research officer or through internships/assignments in diverse environments, both private and public. Experience in an agency or within an integrated service (including in local authorities) would be particularly valued.
  • To demonstrate skills in project management, analysis, and applied research practices
  • To be capable of bridging academic knowledge with real-world contexts, including collaborating with external partners.
  • A strong command of methodological tools and a capacity for pedagogical innovation would be appreciated.
  • Candidates in the final year of their thesis may apply (attestation from the thesis director stating that the thesis will be defended within one year).

Salary

Starting at €1579 gross per month, depending on experience.
In addition to your salary, you will receive a monthly allowance of €52.5 gros
