About the organization

The HP2 laboratory (Hypoxia and Physiopathologies) is a research unit at Université Grenoble Alpes focusing on physiological responses to exercise and hypoxia in relation to health and chronic diseases.

The UFR STAPS Grenoble-Valence, a faculty of Université Grenoble Alpes, offers education and training in sport and exercise sciences, supported by strong research in human movement, health, and performance, across its campuses in Grenoble and Valence.

Your mission

You will be responsible for delivering 192 hours of teaching in physiology, primarily at the undergraduate level and potentially at the postgraduate level, within the UFR STAPS in Grenoble, in the Sport Training (ES) and Adapted Physical Activity and Health (APAS) programs. You will also conduct research in physiology as part of the HP2 laboratory.

Main activities

To carry out these tasks successfully, you will need to: 

  • Join the Physiology teaching team
  • Join the HP2 laboratory
  • Develop a research project in line with the team’s research priorities.

Preferred qualifications

You are expected to demonstrate the following skills:

Scientific and teaching skills:

  • Strong background in exercise physiology and/or human physiology
  • Ability to design, deliver, and assess teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • Interest or experience in innovative teaching methods
  • Ability to supervise students (internships, theses)

Research skills:

  • Ability to develop an independent research project aligned with the laboratory’s themes
  • Experience in research methodologies
  • Skills in data analysis and scientific dissemination (publications, conferences)

Transversal skills (soft skills):

  • Ability to work collaboratively and integrate into existing teams
  • Strong organizational skills and autonomy
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Initiative and proactivity
  • Proficiency in scientific English

Salary

Starting at €2194 gross per month, depending on experience.
In addition to your salary, you will receive a monthly allowance of €105 gros
